Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking or participating in any class, programme, workshop, retreat or one-to-one session (“Services”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
You confirm that you are medically fit to participate and have disclosed all relevant health information.
2. Health & Participation
Clients are responsible for:
Disclosing injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy or recent surgery
Informing Core Pilates Oban of changes in health status
Seeking medical advice where appropriate
Exercise carries inherent risk. While reasonable care is taken, participation is entirely at your own risk.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
3. Bookings & Payment
All Services must be paid for in advance unless otherwise agreed.
Prices are listed in GBP and may change.
Payment confirms acceptance of these Terms.
4. Classes (Block Bookings)
Classes are sold in blocks and must be used within the stated timeframe.
Missed classes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Blocks are non-refundable once commenced.
If Core Pilates Oban cancels a class, a credit or alternative session will be offered.
5. One-to-One Sessions
24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule.
Less than 24 hours’ notice or non-attendance will be charged in full.
6. Programmes (6 & 12 Week)
Payment is due in full before commencement unless agreed otherwise.
Sessions must be used within the agreed programme period.
No refunds are available once the programme has started.
7. Workshops & Online Content
Where digital content is delivered immediately, you agree to waive your 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Workshop cancellations within 7 days of the event are non-refundable unless the space can be resold.
If Core Pilates Oban cancels, a full refund will be provided.
8. Retreats
Retreat bookings are subject to separate Retreat Terms issued at booking.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Clients are responsible for travel insurance.
Core Pilates Oban is not liable for travel disruption or force majeure events.
9. Liability
Core Pilates Oban is not responsible for:
Loss of personal belongings
Injury arising from failure to follow instruction
Injury resulting from undisclosed medical conditions
Liability is limited to the value of the service purchased.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for negligence causing death or personal injury.
10. Data Protection
Core Pilates Oban complies with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Personal data, including health information, is collected solely for:
Service delivery
Clinical record keeping
Legal compliance
Data is stored securely and never shared without consent unless legally required.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the law of Scotland and subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
